Irving Federman

Irving Federman graduated Loyola University School of Law In 1976. He interned with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office during his last year in law school prosecuting drug and violent crime preliminary hearings. Irving was employed as a Cook County Felony Prosecutor from 1976 to 1981, where he prosecuted numerous homicide and serious felony cases. For the last 40+ years he has practiced exclusively as a Criminal Defense Lawyer in Cook County and surrounding counties in Northern Illinois. He is experienced in defending clients charged with the most serious State felony charges. He has obtained acquittals for at least 25 clients charged with First Degree Murder. He has tried over 75 felony jury trials, and hundreds of felony bench trials. He has represented clients in every manner of criminal charges from misdemeanors to serious felonies. A large portion of his practice is composed of clients charged with shooting cases, gun possession cases, drug cases and DUI cases. From 1981 to 1995 his office was located on the corner of Roosevelt Rd. & Halsted St. in Chicago, and from 1995 to the present he has been located at 7101 N. Cicero Ave. in Lincolnwood, IL. He has served on several Boards of Directors including a Boys Club in Pilsen, a daycare center in Roger Park, a religious organization in Hollywood Park, and as a President and founder of The Roosevelt-Halsted Merchants Association.
